LIVING LIGHTLY NEWS
The Living Lightly Project is gradually taking shape, gaining an audience and even earning some media attention. Best of all, the film is well on its way, and we’re offering a chance to get a sneak preview this Sunday. Read on for an update on what we’ve been doing and our next steps.
FILM UPDATE
We’re very excited to announce that after months of brainstorming, planning, filming and editing, the Living Lightly film is now nearing completion. We’ve already made a rough cut, and we hope to celebrate the film’s Ottawa premiere in June. We’ll keep you posted about the date and time – you won’t want to miss this event!
FOCUS GROUPS
Our film’s rough cut is still, well, rough, and we need to do some more editing and polishing before we’re ready to unveil it to the general public. But there’s a way to get a sneak preview and help us out while you’re at it!
We’re holding focus groups in Ottawa and Kingston in the coming days so we can get feedback from an objective audience, which will help guide the film’s final edit.
The Ottawa focus group will be held this Sunday, February 10, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Studio 7A, located at 7B Hamilton St., right beside Cube Gallery near the Parkdale Market. If you would like to participate, please RSVP to david@livinglightly.ca. Because objectivity is key, we’re looking for about 12-15 people who haven’t yet been involved in the Living Lightly film project.
