Living Lightly News
We are heading into Autumn in Ottawa, and that means municipal elections here, and indeed across Ontario. Having entered the race to be elected to city council representing my ward, I find myself with a couple of new challenges:
The first is how to bring the ideas of Living Lightly to municipal politics, both in terms of the way I approach the job and run my campaign, and in terms of the policies and platform I am presenting. In an initial effort to bring the Living Lightly ethos to the race, my campaign team and I put together this little video (no doubt on the way to becoming a YouTube sensation!) to promote voter participation and to demonstrate how art and humour can be effective tools of communication. It should make you smile, especially if you know the Old Spice commercial on which it is based.
The second challenge is how to keep generic viagra online store promoting Powerful – Energy for Everyone, to make sure the film and its message are spread widely. Encouraging news comes on several fronts. The Colorado Environmental Film Festival (November 4-6 in Golden, Colo.) has selected Powerful for its program, and it will be in competition for festival awards. Also, Powerful is now available for ordering on DVD via the Living Lightly website, where payment by PayPal is possible. Shipping could take up to 3-4 weeks, as the production date is still a couple of weeks away. Your order will help finance the significant upfront costs of DVD production and jacket printing.
Now, back to the campaign and film promotion trail …
